Valley Trek
(1 hour) |
This is an
easy 1 hour ride which loops around the valley, through park and
farmland with areas of native forest, birdlife and crossing the
Te Wharau River.
You may be lucky enough for a close encounter with the farm
animals or the native birdlife

Tablelands Trek*
(2.5 hours) |
This is a
2.5 hour horse trek which follows the river up the valley, then
climbs up the side of Mount Bradley to the Tablelands plateau.
From here you will see the
breathtaking views of Lyttelton Harbour, Quail Island and the
Port Hills.
Depending upon the weather there is a chance
to stop for a drink, leg stretch and photos, before beginning the descent
back to the main park. |
