    Just wanted to pass on my thanks and appreciation of a fantastic time that Jackie and I had on Thursday morning on the 1 hour ride. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks again for picking us up from the harbour and for the return drop off at Godley House - you were right, it was beautiful! Once again, thanks for a great morning!

Hi – A really big thank you to you all at Orton Bradley for the fabulous ride we had a couple of weeks ago.  We’re back home in England now (cold, wet, muddy…) but have lovely memories of our ride – our guide (I’m sorry I didn’t get his name) was just great, he was interesting and sensitive to the needs of the horses and the riders – his horse looked a lot of fun too!

I’ve attached some photos, I rode Nosey Girl, who surprised me by listening to me and being quite responsive (not an easy thing for her to be considering the range of riders she must see!) though I remain envious of my partner who actually had some strides of pacing out of Sam – something in 35 years of riding I’ve never experienced!

It was great (and I really mean this) to see Standard breeds leading happy and useful lives,  they seemed such nice types (we have nothing like these guys in the UK) with good temperaments and I was so pleased to see them kept so well.  Later in our holiday we went elsewhere to ride but ended up leaving as the only way I’d have been happy would have handing over my 90 dollars and NOT riding the horse!!

Thank you again – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Orton Bradley to anyone – in fact I do write submissions for the Rough Guides Guide books and I shall be definitely suggesting you guys get a mention.
